Yards Marina

 

DETAILS:

The Yards is located on the northern bank of the Anacostia Riverfront between the Nationals Ballpark and the Washington Navy Yard. The yards contains 26 transient boater slips and 25 seasonal slips for boats up to 125 feet. The Yards is also a new evolving neighborhood within DC. The Yards provides shopping, dozens of restaurants/bars/brewery, a gym, grocery store and soon to be winery. The marina offers 3 phase eletricity and water hookup and WIFI. The Yards also offers tons of events during the warmer seasons such a outdoor concerts and socials. There is also a Penthouse Pool Club on the roof of the local gym within walking distance.

 

LOCATION:

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)is located 6 miles away from the Marina with 4 runways ranging from 4,100 ft to 6,855 ft., Baltimore/ Washington International Airport is 30 miles from the marina and a 45 minute drive. Washington Dulles International Airport is 31 miles from the marina and a 50 minute drive. Freeway Airport is also an option for private planes. It is 22 miles from the marina.

 

LOCAL TRANSPORTATION:

Admiral Limousine Service(202)544-1000, Captial City Limousine Service, NOVA Limousine Service, and Interional Limousine Service are all located near the marina.

 

LOCAL KNOWLEDGE:

The Yards is just a short taxi drive to the National Mall, White House, Washington Union Station, Capitol Hill. The National Air and Space Museum, National Museum of Natural History, National Gallery of Art, International Spy Museum, Holocaust Museum, and National Museum of American History. Georgetown is also a popluar area within DC that provides amazing restaurants and shopping. The new population acttractions, MGM Casino and The Gaylord Hotel as nearby as well. The Yards neighborhood alone provides more than a dozen amazing restaurants, bars, brewies and wineries. There is a gym and outdoor pool walking distance away. The Washington Nationals Stadium is also right next to the marina!

PILOTAGE REGULATIONS:

A recreational vessel that is both less than 200 ft in overall length and has less than a 12 foot draft may not be required to employ a licensed pilot.
